Melissa Williams John Obituary, Death – On August 9, 2023, Fort Smith, Arkansas native Melissa Ann Williams, who had reached the age of 60 and had gone away in a nursing home in the nearby region, passed away from her illness. On June 7, 1963, in the city of Fort Smith, Arkansas, she was brought into the world by her parents, Lanny and Pat (Swofford) Williams.
Pat was her mother’s maiden name before she married. She attended the United Baptist Church in Pocola, Oklahoma, where she was also an active member, despite the fact that her primary vocation was that of a homemaker. Even though we are aware that death is a natural and unavoidable component of life, we are never quite ready to say goodbye to a friend or family member permanently.
No one ever wants to know the anguish of losing a loved one since the accompanying emotion has the ability to drive people apart and is difficult for everyone. No one ever wants to go through that. When one expresses sympathy or condolences to another person who has experienced a loss, the goal is to communicate as much compassion, concern, and connection to the recipient as is humanly feasible.
It may be difficult to describe how you are genuinely feeling when faced with circumstances that are so laden with emotion. She is survived by her sons Melvin and Marvin Robertson, both of Longview, Texas; a brother, Jimmy Williams, who lives in Dalton, Georgia; two sisters, Diane Williams and Elaine Reeves, who live in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Arkoma, Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Robertson.
