Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Have Been Inspired By This Famous Power Couple Not To Get Married
The deadly coronavirus pandemic has forced people all over the world to drastically change their plans and views on life; many are wondering what has happened to 50-year-old Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, 43?
The pair has been together for several years, and many of their fans are wondering when they will get married.
One of their most famous fans is Ellen DeGeneres, and she has been pleading with Blake to pop the question, but he is not in a rush.
A source, who spoke to Hollywood Life, said the musicians believe that their relationship is like the one Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have, and they are happy with the way things are going.
The insider stated: “They’ve been doing fun stuff with his hair, and they’ve also been and writing music together during the quarantine. They haven’t really been talking about getting engaged or plans for marriage. And no one should take that as a bad thing because they are in a great groove and all that will happen when it happens. Their relationship is a relationship like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, and it has that type of feel, where they don’t need any title to have a long-standing great time together. They are just taking things as they go, and there isn’t much stress put on each other for anything. And that is why they are so happy and why it works so well. All is good for them right now, and they don’t have plans to change it up even while they are quarantined together. It is not changing how things are working for them in any way.”
Another family friend claimed they recently moved in together and all is well: “They moved in together not too long ago and are very happy in their new home. They’re very content with the status of the relationship, and neither feels the need to get married anytime soon, however, nobody would be shocked if they did get engaged soon.”
The insider said it was their biggest commitment to date. The person added that Blake is also happy to be with Gwen’s children’s with ex Gavin Rossdale — Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5: “Blake has taken on the role of a second father figure to Gwen’s boys, and they really respect Blake. He’s very helpful now with everything for the boys, especially now that they are under the same roof. It was a big but good step for them. Living together makes it easier for them as a couple since they’re always together, anyways.”
