Adam Levine & Lady Gaga bitchfight on Twitter, Gaga calls him the art police

Lady Gaga’s not having the greatest month. First Miley Cyrus grabbed all the VMA attention. Then everyone basically kept talking about Miley and ignored Gaga’s amazing art. Next Elton John was mean to her, and now the pile-on continues. Adam Levine took to Twitter with some not-so-subtle tweets that not-so-cryptically referred to Gaga’s ART. In short, Levine isn’t impressed with all of Gaga’s posturing. He thinks she’s too busy performing for herself and doesn’t take her audience’s desires into consideration. At least that’s what I gather from his remarks.

I can’t imagine Gaga even follows Levine, so the info probably came from one of her little monsters. You know this criticism must get under Gaga’s skin at least a little. Her art is untouchable, people. You’re not supposed to question it. Just love it. Fawn over her. Even though “Applause” is completely underwhelming as a song, right?

Levine may be a douche in general, but at least he recognizes the value in making pop music. He knows he’s making disposable tunes and accepts that for what it is. Plus, it makes him money and gets him laid. Win win.
